Scottish pupils have been invited to design the cover for a series of educational publications. The first four titles in publisher Leckie Leckie’s Active Learning series for A Curriculum for Excellence, covering English, maths, business and science, will be launched in autumn 2009.

Pupils of any age can enter designs for these titles, or come up with a generic design for the series. The books will be A4 size and aimed at S1 pupils. Only a design is required - there is no need to think about titles or other information - and any medium can be used. Both individual and team entries will be accepted.

As well as seeing its design go on the cover of thousands of books, the winning school will receive Pounds 250 worth of Leckie Leckie books and there will be separate prizes for pupils.
