A scheme offering children free admission to theatres, arts and sports events is to be launched next week. New Generation Audiences, which is sponsored by The TES, has so far collected 30,000 free tickets from organisations including the Royal Shakespeare Company, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Football Association Premier League Hall of Fame. The pound;2.5 million project, which is being piloted in five areas before going nationwide in January, will be complemented by on-line learning opportunities for the young people. It will be launched on Monday at The Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, London. All UK schools can register with NGA now at www.learning-circuit.co.uk and will be informed when their area goes live. If you can provide tickets, learning materials or sponsorship, call the Learning Circuit on 0181 392 3785 or e-mail: ict_info@learning-circuit.co.uk.
