Art teachers are being invited to compete for a share of pound;60,000 prize money.

The Artworks Awards scheme, founded in 1999, is the largest award for art in schools.

Project work completed with pupils can be submitted in one of three categories: working with artists, working with galleries and working with other schools. There are also awards for motivated pupils. Winning schools will receive pound;2,000, as well as a limited-edition print by a well-known artist. www.art-works.org.uk
