The UK’s first Information Centre on “Near Earth Objects” will open at the National Space Science Centre in Leicester at Easter. An exhibition and interactive facilities will show where asteroids and comets can be found, the effects of planetary collision with them, the history of impacts within our solar system, the risks posed by impact on Earth and the likelihood of this happening.
