Bac courses are being considered as an alternative to Curriculum 2000

* Bac courses are being considered as an alternative to Curriculum 2000 by 15 per cent of schools and sixth-form colleges, according to a new survey of headteachers.

The poll by the Secondary Heads Association also found that 70 per cent of the 764 respondents had cut the time given to enrichment activities in the last year. But John Dunford, SHA general secretary, said his members still supported the Curriculum 2000 reforms.
