Pupils from the fire-damaged Coedpenmaen primary school in Pontypridd returned to lessons this week, after Rhondda Cynon Taf council completed work needed to accommodate them at the nearby former Graig Y Wion primary.

Work has included providing more toilets and computer points, and upgrading the fire alarm system. Remploy, a government-funded agency for disabled people, has provided free desks.
