But although she knew she was good at her job, there was resentment among her 32 staff.
Georgina, who is now 34, and teaches economics, business and basic skills, said: "I knew there was a lot of backstabbing and the fact I was so young and in such a senior post was causing problems.
"I didn't know who to turn to because I did not want to look weak. I felt very isolated.
"After six months of being thoroughly miserable I knew I had to do something about it."
She contacted the support line and now advises colleagues who look miserable or upset to do the same. "It was the best thing I ever did," she said.
