Badminton Scotland, the governing body for the sport, is set to launch a national TOP Sport programme in primary schools, involving training, resource cards and equipment for primary teachers to enable them to coach. It is anticipated that hundreds of newcomers will be attracted to the sport and they will have an opportunity to follow through their interest by tapping into Badminton Scotland’s youth development programme.
