Hundreds of children are expected to attend a one-day exhibition bringing the role of Barry and surrounding areas in the First and Second World Wars to life with authentic artefacts and re-enactments. Dr Jonathan Hicks, a military historian and deputy head of St Cyres School in Penarth, has organised the event, which will take place at the Memorial Hall in Barry, on Saturday November 22, between 10am and 4pm.
