BBC review criticised

GOVERNMENT plans to provide free BBC online materials for schools, subsidised by licence-payers, came in for fresh criticism this week. An independent report by National Economic Research Associates said the BBC's own investigation into the possible effects on the education publishing market had failed to carry out the necessary consultation.
