City and Guilds and Queen’s University, Belfast, have forged links to give work-based students the chance to gain academic recognition for their achievements in employment.
The university will be the first in Northern Ireland to offer the range of the City and Guilds senior awards which will also be open to the university’s students taking work placement as part of their degree so their success at work as well as their academic performance can be recognised.
The awards acknowledge professional development, experience and practical ability and require no formal academic experience.
