The country’s best children’s centres and school teams will be celebrated for the first time this year in the 10th national Childcare Stars awards. Run by childcare charity 4Children, the awards celebrate the most dedicated, inspiring and deserving childcarers in the country. From childminders to nursery workers, playworkers and newcomers to long-standing supportive employers, 4Children is looking for the best practice in childcare. There are eight categories - children’s centre team of the year, childcare team of the year, early years, childcarer of the year, playworker of the year, childminder of the year, newcomer of the year, employer of the year for staff childcare support and extended school team of the year.
