Winner of the Young Digital Poland Award for “best use of ICT in education” at the 2004 eLearning Awards in Prague, Czech Republic, in November, “MyHighcliffe” is a web-based system set up by Highcliffe School in Christchurch, Dorset. Through the site, parents are able to access information about the school and the academic achievements of their children. Pupils can also log on to the site to read their reports, remind themselves which library books they have on loan, access their timetable and read their emails. “MyHighcliffe” was picked from more than a thousand entries from 30 countries, so congratulations to all those involved in creating this site.
