It’s that time of year again - when you can nominate those elements of ICT that bring learning to life in your classroom for a BETT award. Let’s hope that the techies who drew up the shortlist last year and managed to exclude some teachers’ favourite software (2Simple for example) are not allowed to repeat such blatant injustices. Especially as they are funded by public money. The paymasters, the DfES, might also be interested to discover why one of last year’s winners used a BETT judge as its nominee - without the judge’s permission or knowledge. Your nominations should be in to Becta by the beginning of August.
