BETT winner Accurate goes bust

The winner of last year's BETT innovation award, Accurate, has gone into receivership. Accurate won the award for its CPS Response System, a set of simple handheld devices that can be connected to a class computer and whiteboard for testing and recording data. The company also sold whiteboards and software to hundreds of school throughout the UK. Following negotiations with receivers, Audio Visual Warehouse is the new owner of Accurate and will "merge" the name. AV Warehouse says it will support warranties on Accurate products and provide "on-going support for any school with regard to unfulfilled training or product demonstrations for Interactive products, the CPS system and Lynx whole-class teaching software".
