More than 300 Birmingham teachers are expected to take a specially chartered train to visit the BETT educational technology exhibition in London in January. At least two Birmingham schools will take all their teachers to the exhibition. The trip will also mark the launch of Birmingham’s own learning grid. BETT organisers are stepping up their successful awards scheme in which teachers vote for their favourite products and services. The number of categories is up from six to 16. BETT 2000 is at Olympia in London, January 12 to 15.
