The BBC is creating its first apprenticeship scheme with Westminster Kingsway College to help students break into broadcasting without a degree.

Westminster is developing the framework for a creative and digital media apprenticeship that will be open to over-18s for the next three years. It is intended to train the workforce covering the 2012 Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
