A unique Business Studies project involving many of the country’s biggest companies and The Times newspaper is set to arrive in secondary schools and colleges by the autumn. Times 100 is a practical teaching resource which translates business news into curriculum projects.
Over 50 top UK companies, including the British Railways Board, ICI, and the BBC will be participating. The package, targeted at 14 to18-year-olds, is free to schools and will include a class set of special newspapers with business stories from The Times; a computer disc with details on participating companies; a file of case studies, project work linking the material to the curriculum and a teacher’s guide.
