The "Adventures of Captain Bligh: Story Telling and Picture Drawing" promises stories of "his 18th century seafaring adventures". Children can learn about how "Bligh found new plants to bring back to Britain and his expeditions to transport food to slaves."
But isn't there a rather famous episode missing?
The museum's Chris Potts says the talk, part of Black History Month, will "touch on the mutiny stuff - but Captain Bligh is buried in the graveyard here so we want to emphasise some of the other things he achieved".
That's what we call historical interpretation.
