The research findings, reported in your front page story on August 11, that school sex education does not encourage teenagers to experiment irresponsibly are to be welcomed.
A success story, putting teachers in a good light, is a rare event.
There is, however, a slightly more cynical explanation.
Having successfully bored pupils, particularly the academically less able, with history, physics and the rest, teachers have now managed to make sex boring as well!
