Boy dies during maths exam

An 11-year-old boy died after he collapsed while sitting a Sats tes at his primary school. Leslie Elkington, a pupil at Shield Row primary n Stanley, County Durham, fell ill during a maths test last week.

An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.
