I read with interest your report on Chain Schools (TES, June 13) in which you listed the Steiner Waldorf schools among the multinationals and PLCs with designs on taking over UK schools.

The reality is that the UK Steiner schools and early years settings are fully independent and autonomous organisations which work associatively through the Steiner Waldorf Schools Fellowship.
