To help bridge the gaps between children’s varying levels of musical expertise when transferring to secondary school, Dudley music inspector, Clive Kempton, recently led a project, the results of which are packaged in “Moving On”: a key stage 23 music curriculum liaison project. It contains a cassette tape of original songs and listening materials on the theme of transport; song, composing and listening books; a teachers’ guide, and a large original poster to stimulate composing activities.
