Before the launch of the primary and pre-school section in April, The TES promised copies of Barnabas and Anabel Kindersley’s Children Just Like Me to the senders of the first 10 ideas pulled from a hat. The winners are: Denise Bates, Stolybridge, Cheshire; Christopher Hatton Primary, London EC1; Kathryn Kohl, Sheffield; Sian Lawrence, Moseley Primary, Coventry; Margaret Lund, Shakespeare County Primary, Fleetwood, Lancashire; Peter Read, St Albans, Hertfordshire; Marie Sparrow, Samuel Barlow School, Clipstone; Huw Thomas, Sheffield; Carol Ward, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire; Windale First School, Blackbird Leys, Oxford.

Nursery Creche 96 will be held at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre from tomorrow until Monday. It will feature more than 110 exhibitors and a series of seminars on subjects such as setting up a Kids’ Club and pre-school literacy.

Visitors can pre-register by calling the Nursery Creche 96 Hotline on 01494 465425; otherwise, registration costs Pounds 5 at the door on the day.
