Seeing and hearing

How do you spot whether severely disabled people have impaired sight or hearing? A course from Mencap, Manchester University and the Royal School for the Deaf starting in September aims to train parents, carers, non-teaching staff, teachers and therapists to recognise and work with sensory impairments and the whole range of disabilities. It can be taken at certificate level by non-professionals and at diploma or master level by teachers and professionals with appropriate qualifications.
