* Tim Homfray’s “Were you paying attention?” (Quiz, TES November 18) reveals that he wasn’t. Researchers have found that teenagers’ brains change at adolescence at different rates and ages depending upon gender.
One implication might be that girls and boys ought not to be taught together or in the same way at those ages. If that is so obvious to teachers and educators, why aren’t they doing something about it?
