Brighton - Children put bounce in festival's step

As part of the promotion for the third Brighton and Hove Children's Festival, being held this weekend, Hertford Infant School pupils echoed Sony's award-winning Bravia TV adverts and watched as 16,000 balls cascaded down the town's steep streets (OK, Sony's version had 250,000 balls and was set in San Francisco, but it was still impressive).

This year's theme is transformation, and children and families are invited to take a chance, try something new and transform themselves, the environment and each other. The pupils were rewarded with as many balls as they could catch and a free ice cream.
