The British Soft Drinks Association has issued a pilot study pack providing information on fluid in the diet and on the manufacture, packaging and distribution of many popular drinks. It has also launched Liquids Mean Life, a website for schools. You can obtain a password to gain access to the site by applying on a school letterhead. Pupils at key stage 3 will fnd plenty to do, from designing a new liquid product for the health-conscious market to exploring the sale of water that is almost indistinguishable from that coming out of the tap.
