BTEC results will go public for first time

BTEC results will be published for the first time this year as part of Edexcel’s bid to improve the status of its vocational qualifications. The national results day, to be held in July, will see detailed statistics for the 12 months between June 2010 and June 2011 made public, as the exam board looks to increase the transparency of the qualifications, which are taken by hundreds of thousands of students.
