One of the largest construction sites in the UK, the 67-acre King’s Cross development in London, has built a dedicated apprentice training centre as the first stage of the project and is expected to provide 150 apprenticeship places a year. The development, which is to include university buildings and a school, as well as offices, homes and shops, is due to open in 2012.
