Six more local authorities have been allowed to join the Building Schools for the Future programme. Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Gateshead, Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire and Sutton can now start their rebuilding projects earlier than originally planned with the #163;418.3 million funding. Birmingham, Cumbria and Gloucestershire are next in line to enter the programme.
