A significant number of children and young people are being bullied on the journey to and from school and need more support to keep them safe, according to research released this week by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. The survey of 462 young people reveals that 43 per cent of 11- to 16-year-olds have witnessed another student being bullied on the journey to or from school, with one in 10 suffering themselves in the past year. The study found that almost half of those who have seen another student being bullied in the past year did not report it, with 44 per cent saying they did not think it was any of their business.
