A school bursar who lied about his qualifications to get a job is facing jail after stealing nearly pound;60,000 from a secondary school. Ronald Bainbridge, 59, spent years siphoning money from the accounts of Ravensbourne School in Bromley, Kent, to spend on holidays, a new car and rent. Bainbridge admitted one count of deception in connection with his bogus CV, a similar offence involving a cheque and one of furnishing false information concerning a bogus set of accounts. He also pleaded guilty at Southwark Crown Court to 16 sample counts of theft.
