THANK you Andrew Cunningham for celebrating inspirational teachers. An experienced teacher friend of mine was advised to avoid telling pupils when they gave incorrect answers, as it could affect their morale. If they think correcting pupils is detrimental to morale, what do inspectors think their paperbound, tick-box thinking does to teachers?

To inspirational teachers: you know who you are, your pupils know who you are. There are plenty of us without clipboards who know what a difference you make.
