The video camera that helped spearhead the adoption of digital video technology in schools has been spruced up with a new, cheaper model. Canon has launched the revamped MV600i with higher resolution, an extra processor for digital still photos, a webcam and “dv-in” facility and a price cut of “around pound;100” which means you should be able to buy it for well below pound;500. Although redesigned, the camera retains its popular “cine retro” look.
