The 1996 Cumbria Fair of Science and Technology will be held on July 11-13 at Ullswater Community College, Penrith. Schools from all over Cumbria are exhibiting and attending workshops on the schools’ day, July 12, and hands-on exhibitions and Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Fire and Ambulance displays have been organised for the public day (July 13). The fair aims to show how science and technology provide worthwhile educational and career opportunities and can be fun.
