WHEN is this debate on Catholic schools going to stop? I thought that Professor Lindsay Paterson of Moray House Institute had finished off the debate when he showed that Catholic schools work! If Catholic schools are abolished what are you going to put in their place?
Pupils in Catholic schools can and do develop into society in a positive way. The present nn-
denominational schools are not acceptable to a good number of parents, and many Muslim and other religious parents send their children to Catholic schools, because of the discipline.
I am not saying Catholic schools have all the answers, but what I do say is that Catholic schools work.
