A spectacular carnival filling the streets of South Kensington and London’s Natural History Museum will be the highlight of this year’s arts and science festival.

The Big Bazaar on September 10 is one of hundreds of events making up the Creating Sparks festival, which will run from September 6 to 30 and has been organised by the British Association for the Advancement of Science.

The carniva will include music, dance, magic, circus acts, theatre and feats of daring, all chosen to reflect scientific themes and performed by some of the country’s best street artists.

Admission to the street events, The Natural History Museum and several other London museums will be free on the day. To book, call the ticket hotline: 0870 842 2220 or visit the website www.creatingsparks.co.uk.
