Charity’s plea on discipline

Excluded pupils are likely to re-offend unless they are involved in their disciplinary process, according to a report by the charity Save the Children.

The report, titled A Fair Hearing, said that pupils often felt confused about what was happening to them and their alienation boiled over into anger and frustration.
