Confused about short-term supply

MadeInThe80s: Having received info from a couple of LAs, I just wanted to check something. For the five days at point 1, Part 2 Section 1 says pay will be at the hourly rate of 11645 - which is 235 days x 7 hours. Then it says in Part 2, Section 3 that the hours for a short-term supply teacher shall be a MAXIMUM of 25 hours per week and payment shall not be made for any hours worked in excess of this. So, are they paying us 5 hours a day or 7? Are we only getting paid for time in class, or do we get the additional 2 hours prep and correction time? Can a short-term supply teacher receive the full pound;25,716 over the year, or only pro rata?

mot: You can only work a max of 5 hours a day or 25 hours a week with 2.5 hours non-contact time. You no longer get 2 hours prep time. You will not be paid for over 5 hours a day. I think the most you can earn is around pound;18,000. If you manage to get work for more than five consecutive days in the same class, you will go on a temporary contract and be paid at your full rate.

Elhombre: Six 50-minute periods will be 5 hours exactly, which is what they pay you.
