“Chemicals for Life” is a new permanent interactive exhibition opening at Catalyst, The Museum of the Chemical Industry, on May 14, which will range from the techniques of early photography to environmental issues such as recycling waste. Children will learn about chemicals in the home, hospital, on the farm and in leisure and find the chemical solutions to many everyday problems such as how to get blood and mud out of carpets.
