The Government has announced Pounds 200 million in funding for 101 projects to bring together child and family services. Speaking at the National College for School Leadership’s annual conference in Birmingham, Schools Secretary Ed Balls said locating services under one roof was vital in making sure children and families can get the right help at the right time. He also announced a Pounds 31m project, Achievement for All, to pilot innovative teaching and support for young people with special educational needs in 10 local authorities and 450 schools.
