Christmas science

Familiar objects from the festive season take centre stage during the Science of Christmas workshops at the Iver Nature Study Centre at Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire. Pupils will be able to make Christmas puddings, discover the properties of flame, make electrical circuits for Christmas tree lights and make their own recycled tree ornaments and candles.

Starting Monday, Nov 29 until Friday, Dec 17. Individual school needs can be catered for. The centre will also be running an Apple Fortnight from Oct 11 to 22 which offers opportunities for apple tasting, identification, squeezing and a visit a local orchard.
