THE British Humanist Association would like to register its dismay at the handing-over of several Bradford schools to Anglican and Muslim control. Religious schools are divisive and discriminatory. Schools that acknowledge that religious faith is a private matter and get on with preparing their pupils for life in the 21st century would surely be more appropriate to our multicultural and increasingly secular society.
