Activity: create an Environment Day or week in school, with teachers and subjects collaborating on activities or topic areas. Invite speakers, involve (web) research, use debates and surveys, collate opinions through meetings, invite pupils to present and communicate their views to local media, councils, and MPsMEPs. Emphasise self-assessment on both skills and content, using video, displays, and project work as evidence.
Who or what is responsible for global warming? Who is responsible for combating its damaging effects? What can young people do to change things? Should Russia and the US be "forced to agree" to the Kyoto Protocol? If so, how?
