If medals could be awarded to British citizens, who should get gold? Nominate a famous person from history or today, and present reasons and evidence for your choice. Have a judging panel to award medals and prizes to nominators (include pupils). Organise a Mock Parliament Debate on an “Olympics amp; politics” motion: (“This house believes that the Olympics should never be used for political ends.”) Research the websites for exclusionboycotting in the the Olympics.
