Should we value all views equally or are there some views that society, and schools in particular, should not tolerate? Carry out a class andor year group survey of students’ attitudes towards some of the issues raised in this article. Questions could include: do you believe in God?; do you believe in evolution as an explanation for the development of life?; should ID be taught as part of the science curriculum?

KS4

Working in groups of four or five, look at the articles on these websites by critics of creationism and ID (look at one article per group):
