A special school has picked up the Clean Glasgow Schools Award for adopting the park next door.
Newhills School in the east of the city carries out monthly clean-ups and host an annual community one at the park. Students also do daily litter collections in the school grounds.
The Clean Glasgow Awards aim to recognise and reward those who have taken action to tackle grime crime or improve the environment.
Community organisations and members of the public nominate those they think have contributed to the drive to make Glasgow a cleaner city.
