Strathclyde University has asked us to point out that last week’s heading “Dyslexia findings prompt literacy teaching fears” was misleading. While dyslexia was discussed by one of the researchers in her conference presentation as one of the likely disabilities among the 6 per cent of student teachers who reported one, it was not investigated for their research paper, Diverse Teaching in Scotland’s Diverse Future.
