Class size is crucial

Mrs L teaches at an independent school and lives in Glasgow. Originally she was undecided about which party to support, but now thinks it will be either the Scottish Nationalists or the Liberal Democrats. "But really I don't think it makes that much difference whichever of the four parties wins," she says.

Any inclination to vote Conservative was lost with the high-profile resignation of Allan Stewart, the Eastwood MP. Class size is an important issue for her and she feels Labour's promise of a limit of 30 children - in the first three years of school - is not enough, so she has swung to the Lib Dems.
